Position Overview:
The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and enhance customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of digital media and e-commerce platforms, as well as strong communication and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms, including website, mobile applications, and online marketplaces.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer service, to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless customer experience.
- Implement digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising, to drive traffic and conversions.
- Create and manage product listings, descriptions, and pricing on various e-commerce channels.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and manage order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery.
- Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to management.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging e-commerce technologies and industry advancements to suggest innovative strategies and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the digital media industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar.
- Proficiency in utilizing various digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track performance metrics.
- Familiarity with online marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, or Etsy, is a plus.
